Save energy, battery, and SSD by implementing my revolutionary discovery: html5 player that network buffer by default comfortable 1 minute of streaming video #522

Description

@audacieuxnumber1

Hi, FastStream is amazing, it's useful when we plan to watch the whole video, but I watch hundreds of anime at the same time and I skip the boring parts. For example, I'm watching a fighting anime and I skip the romantic scenes...

Full buffering all streaming videos can become a waste of data and energy, and maybe the ISP will throttle us...

But yesterday I made an exceptional discovery, alhamdulilAllah :

I activated Cat-Catch extension:

https://github.com/xifangczy/cat-catch

I installed this HTML5 video player extension:

https://github.com/inbasic/media-player

Then I right-clicked on the icon/options/ and activated "Capture media from tab".

I went to this anime streaming sites :
https://voir-anime.to/anime/apocalypse-bringer-mynoghra/apocalypse-bringer-mynoghra-06-vostfr/
https://streaming-integrale.cc/episode/liar-game-saison-1-episode-10/
https://franime.fr/anime/wistoria-wand-and-sword?s=1&ep=12&lang=vo&anime_id=48534
https://anime-sama.to/catalogue/tsue-to-tsurugi-no-wistoria/saison2/va/

I click on cat-catch icon/parser, a new window opens, and I click on the m3u8 link. A new video player opens, then I click on the icon for the HTML5 media player extension:

https://github.com/inbasic/media-player

And there I see in this new HTML5 player that buffers the video for one minute, whereas the normal buffer of the original video player (Vidmoly Player) is only 30 seconds, which often causes stuttering and lag because my ADSL Wi-Fi connection is slow. So, with this revolutionary discovery , there's no need to buffer or download the entire video, and I can skip through the streaming video and watch the interesting parts smoothly because the buffer of this amazing HTML5 media player is for one minute by default.

I also tried extension "m3u8 Sniffer TV - Find and Play HLS Streaming URLs extension". It works, but it buffers the entire streaming video, which isn't what I like :

https://sniffertv.com/

So my request to Mr. Andrew @Andrews54757 please is: either implement a mechanism to buffer just 1 minute of streaming video, or add this revolutionary new HTML5 player that buffers 1 minute of streaming video by default for all videos. Thanks!
