Firebase Authentication functions are giving error "No reference found.

I have recently updated a plugin, after that I get firebase Auth errors in my whole project which was running perfectly before. Here are some code snippets:
private FirebaseAuth fAuth; fAuth = FirebaseAuth.getInstance(); fUser = fAuth.getCurrentUser();

ref.child(fAuth.getUid()).

I am getting error on **getCurrentUser ** and getUid()
it says **cannot resolve method (method name) in firebaseAuth.
