It's an issue with your Docker Compose configuration; it's not the officially distributed one. Your networks section should look like this: networks:

just added sql pw and auth key/secret else copy from your docs, still no connection |

if the info helps seems like i can ping mariadb from the sync-in container

With the same configuration as yours, but with just this one change: everything starts up correctly. There's probably a problem with your Docker service or your external web network. |

With version 2.5.1, it shouldn't start if MySQL can't be reached. |
to my understanding mariadb starts up but syncin cant connect to it so it just retries to and doesn't go beyond it |

Hi i wanted to try out Sync-in as my selfhosted cloud storage solution, but cant get it to work.
As far as I can tell somehow sync-in cant connect to the mariadb container.
Tried a couple things, to no avail. Hope you can help me. In case its relevant I use Komodo to manage docker etc.
