Unable to access Pylontech US2000D Metrics

Hi @hidaba , I Installed this setup a few months ago and it has been working great with my 4 US2000C, but.....Due to the large number of failures with US2000 series batteries, Pylontech are now replacing failing 2000C batteries with 2000D units. Unfortunately, PylontechMonitoring doesn't work with these units, I get no response if I use the console port on the new 2000D which is the new master, If I plug into any of the other 3 of 2000C I get a response.
Apparently the old version of BatteryView also doesn't work with the 2000D units and has been replaced with a new version. I assume the Arduino script for this monitoring has to be updated accordingly?

EDIT.. just noticed your update to .h file mentioning old and new firmware, will update my rig and let you know result.

Hi, @hidaba many thanks for the response.
TL;DR I don’t think there is anything wrong with the basic scripts, the D battery responds to commands.
The problem appears to be in my processing of the output.
I based my initial thoughts that I was getting nothing when plugged into the Master 2000D battery, on the lack of updating of Battery/Cell metric entities as they display on my Home Assistant dashboard. I had better clarify, I run Hidaba’s code on the Arduino, I have a Python script, running under AppDaemon, that scrapes bat commands and formats the resulting metrics and MQTT publishes them to Home Assistant. That way I have been able to display all9 metrics of each of the 15 cells in all 4 batteries. With the Arduino plugged into the Master D battery no entities are updated, If I move the cable to the console port on battery 2 the entities for that battery update, but no others, I assume you have to be plugged into the Master to run bat commands on other batteries.
If I forget about HA and browse straight to the Arduino I do indeed get a response from the 2000D.
The differences between bat outputs between the new D batteries and the C is that the output is double-spaced, the output of the D is not and there are small differences in the Headers.

The problem therefore appears to be in my python script where it formats the scrape and publishes it to HA.
I had begun to put my code onto github when it was working but this is my first repo so am struggling with the concept of forks, etc. When this issue is resolved, hopefully I can put the revised edition on there.
