Context: the rename broke allowlists referencing tool names (#1448), and the npm page currently advises pinning to 2.8.1 if your agents broke. To make the migration surface navigable, here is the full removed/added/rewritten map, produced by pinning 2.5.0, installing 2.10.0 and diffing contracts mechanically. Treat same-family pairing as guidance, not a guaranteed 1:1 mapping.

Version boundaries (from a per-release bisect)

• Contract-level changes for surviving tools landed at 2.6.0; 2.7.0/2.8.0 changed nothing at the contract surface
• The big consolidation (90 -> 40 pinned tools) is 2.9.0; 2.10.0 added the README breaking-changes warning after the fact
