Ctrl-C loses commits

Pressing Ctrl-C in the middle of stacked-pr export loses commits & data. Ideally it should be more careful, save a checkpoint, and restore that on any interruption.

Ah actually it was simpler: after Ctrl-C the folder remained in one of the created /stack/ branches, which can be very confusing.
