We already have likes for packages. We could consider star for packages in a similar light, even if right now they are maintained by each Repo platform. We could also have reviews of packages. Collections of packages is in the works, so we could have template-like collection that we could use to auto generate a package.json. Most of these are tracked separately right now in issues with the social label.
Users can also express Community (Project) belonging (fan?), as in "I want to say i'm part of the svelte community in a general sense. In there will not be a link from the vite community to this user", so it works more as a "like". Maybe this should just be implemented as Project likes.
