The issue is caused by the newly integrated terminal using newer APIs that are not available in macOS Monterey.

Reverting to an older terminal version from the Phoenix side is not possible due to security concerns. We are working on a major macOS and Windows platform rewrite, similar to the Linux rewrite, which should resolve this issue. This is expected to take about three months.

For now, Monterey users should either roll back to the last supported version of Phoenix Code using the steps below, or upgrade to macOS Sonoma or later. We apologize for the inconvenience.
