can you try installing it by downloading from phcode.io . it looks like some files are missing. could be an os specific issue too. is this intel or m1 mac?

First time using, 2-3 weeks ago, no problem to run the app and perfectly satisfied.
Wanted to use the app on another landing page and then I received the same error message.

Update:

1. Only Intel Macs are affected.
2. Our Intel test machines were on MacOS Sonoma which appears to be unaffected by the updates and works as expected.
3. Tested on MacOS Ventura which appears to be unaffected by the updates and works as expected.
4. Only Monterey appears to have been affected and in Apples End of support and may not have got some safari specific API patches needed for the new terminal feature. Will update soon.
5. Updating to MacOS Sonoma appears to work. If you cant update the OS for any reason, as a temporary work around till we address this, please use the older version and disable automatic updates by going to file>open preferences file and adding "autoUpdate": false, to the phcode.json file.

The issue is caused by the newly integrated terminal using newer APIs that are not available in macOS Monterey.

Reverting to an older terminal version from the Phoenix side is not possible due to security concerns. We are working on a major macOS and Windows platform rewrite, similar to the Linux rewrite, which should resolve this issue. This is expected to take about three months.

For now, Monterey users should either roll back to the last supported version of Phoenix Code using the steps below, or upgrade to macOS Sonoma or later. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Only Intel Macs on macOS Monterey appear to be affected. Our tests on Intel Macs running macOS Sonoma and macOS Ventura worked as expected.

If you cannot upgrade macOS, use the older supported Phoenix Code version and disable automatic updates by going to File > Open Preferences File and adding this to phcode.json:

"autoUpdate": false

We will share more updates as soon as they are available.
