Is there a utils extension that allows you to modify the JSON file?

Wix has a Util extension that allows you to work with XML files. But a modern application contains many json files. Is there any extension for Wix 4 that is responsible for changing the JSON file? Maybe it makes sense to add an extension to Utils for working with json?

Late to this, but for anyone landing here from a search: I maintain
WixJsonFileExtension, a WiX v4–v7 extension
modelled on util:XmlFile but for JSON (MIT, on NuGet).

Paths are JSONPath, changes are rolled back if the install fails, and there are actions for
reading values into properties, deleting keys and editing arrays. It ships x86, x64 and ARM64
custom actions. PanelSwWixExtension (above) is also a good option if you're already using it.
