Hi, I'm Lakaleigh 👋

I'm a software developer with 4 of experience as DevEX engineer mostly working with TypeScript, Python and a bit of C#/C++
I'm currently pursuing an MSc at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on AI and a bit of Robotics

I'm drawn to AI, robotics, and game development: systems that sense, decide and respond to the world around them. That interest led to my current project.

What I'm building: Moby

Moby is a free, open-source early-warning app for natural hazards.

Combines sources: official alerts from NOAA, USGS, NASA and GDACS, plus reports from people nearby.
AI creates brief using offical reports and reports created by the community
Warnings by push: plain-language alerts go to the people they affect.
Works offline: safety guidance stays available when the network is down, with Bluetooth mesh relay planned for places with no signal.
