Hi there I am Avery Lor! đź‘‹

I am a sophmore computer engineering student at the University of Toronto.

I love all things software, always trying to learn something new or cool :)

My current main interests are system software (distributed systems, and lowwer level embedded systems, system level optimizations and autonomous vehicles).

In my free time I love rock climbing, grinding Stardew Valley's economic system and go karting

What I'm building right now:

  • A 32 bit softcore RISC-V processor with pipelining, jump instructions and a call stack
  • My own basic OS in rust
  • Custom compiler

I'm also trying to learn more about:

  • Electronic design
  • EMC testing
  • RF design and wireless telemtry

Currently I am a SWE intern on the RBC Amplify team for this summer.
