Summary

Export the AAZ models used to upgrade the CDN/AFD CLI surfaces that previously consumed 2026-04-01-preview to 2026-09-01-preview.

• Source: ARM-signed-off Add Microsoft.Cdn 2026-09-01-preview API version azure-rest-api-specs#46300, generated from snapshot cf828ab99c8616af7ec90725025d3ef8fae01fa7.
• Target OpenAPI blob: e49e407a066a868ebbb064801b662a5be89ab108; target OpenAPI content remains unchanged at the later reviewed PR head.
• Include 53 previously selected resources plus the Auth Policy collection/item resources.
• Add preview afd auth-policy command models and the new TLS groups, certificate validation, capacity distribution, gRPC, and EdgeAction ClientResponse surfaces.
• Preserve older resource/API versions, existing command examples and property subcommands, and the supported batch-rule ruleName model.
• No hand-editing of exported generated models.

Validation and scope

• AAZ model verification for afd and cdn, and git diff --check: passed.
• Models were used to generate the associated extension candidate; its generated-scope audit, offline regression suite (25 tests / 132 subtests), standard style checks, and dedicated command metadata compatibility comparison passed.
• Dedicated CLI compatibility check: 144 baseline commands versus 150 candidate commands, 15 non-breaking findings and zero breaking findings.
• Baseline: Azure/aaz main at f4676b10d373ec9f5c0b63b986fe2a1832682814.
• Candidate Git tree: 50413876a03ac7b0f8d35f1361e2ddd7ea86a416.
• This repository contains command models rather than the distributable extension, so no package version/changelog bump is applicable here; the linked extension PR bumps cdn to 1.0.0b4 Preview.

Dependencies and limitations

The Swagger PR remains open. No live Azure service verification or package publication was performed. CLI has no May/November release restriction; normal compatibility, versioning, changelog, and CI requirements still apply. Release scheduling and service availability remain maintainer-owned.
