🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
List WorkBuddy in the per-client toggle section.
These lines require users to enable unityMCP, but the later toggle section omits WorkBuddy and says that every other client connects on next launch. Add WorkBuddy to that section so readers do not skip a required setup step.

The WorkBuddy section tells users to enable `unityMCP` under Plugins -> MCP Servers, but the "Per-client toggle locations" list did not mention WorkBuddy and ended with "Everything else just connects on next launch.", so readers could skip the required step. Add WorkBuddy to that list.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winAbort instead of replacing malformed WorkBuddy configuration.
When a readable
.workbuddy/mcp.jsonis malformed, the status check sets WorkBuddy toError, and the UI offersConfigure. If configuration is unlocked anduvxis available,McpConfigurationHelper.WriteMcpConfigurationreplaces the parse failure with an empty root, then writes a root containing onlymcpServers.unityMCP. This can discard unrelated MCP entries and settings from the original file.In
McpConfigurationHelper.WriteMcpConfiguration, return an error from the parse-error catch before building or writing a replacement. The inheritedConfigure()will report the failure and leave the original file intact.Suggested fix

Description
Adds WorkBuddy as a separate MCP client using
.workbuddy/mcp.jsonon Windows, macOS, and Linux. Unity can detect the client, configure HTTP or stdio, and remove only the UnityMCP entry while preserving other settings.Configuration aborts if an existing JSON file cannot be read or parsed. A partially edited WorkBuddy configuration is left byte-for-byte unchanged. Each atomic write also owns its temporary and backup paths, so an unrelated old backup cannot replace current settings after a failed write.

The prescribed four-version check skipped all four Editors because those versions are not installed; these skips are not test passes.Hosted checks for the updated commit are separate from these local results; upstream workflow execution may require maintainer approval.
Actual WorkBuddy connections and execution on Windows/Linux have not been verified. Configuration tests use temporary files.
