What
Two fixes to
documentation/versions-and-deploys.md:minor, notmajor. Versions are calver, so amajorbump rolls the year when the stable branch exits pre mode (2026.10.0-rc.N→2027.0.0). This bit 2026-07 (Version Packages (2026-07) #4571, fixed by hand) and 2026-10 ([2026-10] Release 2026-10 as a minor, not major #4748); the 2027-01-rc cut (ee50e20) already usedminor.latestdist-tag request goes to #ai-operations-oncall, not #help-eng-infrastructure. Infra no longer monitors that channel and redirected us there after the 2026-10 release.Forward-port of #4761.
