fix: six follow-ups from the subprocessor page review - #109
Six follow-ups from #108's review. The subprocessor page stays unannounced: noindex, no link, not in the sitemap.
The subprocessor page:
Paddle's role: both introductions now say Paddle is listed for transparency and acts as its own controller for purchase data.
Retention: a new column, "How long it is kept", read at each provider's own terms. Where a provider's terms state no fixed period, the cell says so.
Supabase's region: the row now says the chosen region hosts the project's database and sign-in, and that Supabase's agreement allows processing where it or its sub-processors keep facilities.
The checks:
The missing-name witness (scripts/pattern-bounds.test.mjs) now asserts that each of the 200 names is reported exactly once, not only the count. A mutant that drops names fails it.
The no-link test (scripts/subprocessor-page.test.mjs) parses every href spelling and compares the resolved path: double, single or no quotes, the full origin, a trailing slash, .html, a ? or # suffix. A single-quoted link in a fixture now fails it.
Font shorthands: a font shorthand whose expansion already reported a missing name no longer adds a second, generic line, so 500 such shorthands give one problem, not 501. A shorthand unreadable on its own is still reported.
Updated the English and Thai subprocessors disclosures with retention information for listed providers, including where no fixed retention period or backup completion deadline is specified.
Clarified that Paddle is listed for transparency and acts as an independent controller for purchase data.
Expanded Supabase’s processing-location details, including regional hosting and the possibility of processing elsewhere for certain services.
…ads every href spelling, and a shorthand with a missing name adds no second line
The K-25 witness counts that each of its 200 names is reported exactly once, so a dropped name fails. The no-link test resolves every href (any quotes or none, any case, a trailing slash, .html, the full origin, a query or a fragment) before it compares the path. A font shorthand whose expansion named a missing entry no longer adds the unreadable-shorthand line on every declaration; one unreadable on its own is still reported.

Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Account for the index redirect.
Cloudflare’s default HTML handling redirects /subprocessors/index.html to /subprocessors. This comparison leaves /subprocessors/index, so the no-link assertion stays green for that link. Normalize the supported index redirects and add a regression case. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Walkthrough
The changes refine font-shorthand lint findings and their tests. They also add English and Thai subprocessors retention disclosures, update processing-location text, and broaden checks that detect links to the subprocessors page.
The lint check skips an unreadable-shorthand finding when expansion already reported a missing entry. Tests check exact per-name counts and unreadable-shorthand cases.

Decode HTML character references in hrefs.
For <a href="/subprocessors">, the browser follows /subprocessors, but assert.deepEqual(hits, []) stays green. Decode attribute values with decodeAttribute before comparing them, and add this case to the test. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Disposition, from the maintainers: right, DEFERRED, thread left open. An href written with character references reaches the page in a browser while the test compares the raw text; the test will decode the attribute value with the existing decodeAttribute before resolving it, and gain that case. The page stays unannounced in the meantime, and no page links it today.

Resolve relative URLs before comparing paths.
For href="../subprocessors" on a root-level page, the browser resolves the link to /subprocessors. This code compares /../subprocessors, so the no-link assertion stays green. Resolve hrefs against the page URL with URL before comparing their paths.
