IoT device version 2
I used Arduino to collect the information which it sends to the Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi reads the information and sends it to the database every 15 seconds (time can be changed in the code). This program stores the data locally but the code can be modified to send data to remote location as well (I have another version for sending to remote location. Feel free to contact me).
