Tests the layer the way sites get it, instead of through the workspace.

  • pack job (scripts/test-pack.sh): packs the layer, installs it in a fresh app (test/fixtures/consumer) outside the workspace and builds it, catching files missing from files and dependencies only the workspace provides
  • consumer job (scripts/test-consumer.sh): builds comark.dev against the packed layer instead of the version it pins
  • cms.comark.dev can join the consumer job once its repository is public

📝 Walkthrough

This pull request adds CI checks for packed-package builds and consumer-site builds. It also adds deployment smoke tests, a workflow to run them after successful deployments, and shared request handling for Vercel’s deployment-protection bypass header.

Changes: Packed package validation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Build the packed package in a consumer fixture
test/fixtures/consumer/*, scripts/test-pack.sh
A Nuxt consumer fixture and a script install the packed package in a fresh fixture and run a build.
Validate a site checkout in CI
scripts/test-consumer.sh, .github/workflows/ci.yml
A script substitutes the packed package into a site checkout and builds its selected app. CI runs this check and the consumer-fixture build.

Deployment smoke testing

Layer / File(s) Summary
Add shared request handling
test/e2e/utils.ts, test/e2e/mcp.test.ts
The shared request helper resolves paths against the base URL and adds the Vercel bypass header when configured. The MCP test uses the helper.
Configure smoke tests and deployment checks
vitest.config.ts, test/smoke/*, package.json, README.md
A new Vitest project checks ISR cache responses, unsigned production revalidation, and optional assistant streaming. The package script and README describe smoke-test commands.
Run smoke tests after successful deployments
.github/workflows/smoke.yml
A GitHub Actions workflow runs the smoke project for successful deployments and passes the deployment URL, environment, and optional assistant settings.

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to b3133

This PR adds CI and deployment smoke checks. Before merge, avoid exposing the Vercel bypass secret to code from fork preview deployments. The pack job can also fail right after a first-party release, and the consumer script leaves a local site checkout in a broken state. None of these affects the shipped layer itself.
