Runs the browser conformance specs against a SvelteKit app, for the browser project item of fells-code/seamless-auth-react#172 (under fells-code/seamless-auth-api#371).

What changes

  • New layers. svelte and svelte-dev Playwright projects point at the existing ./react specs, as angular and vue do.
  • Reference app in verify/svelte-app. It runs SvelteKit 3 with adapter-static as a single-page app (the top of the binding's SvelteKit range), built from its own Dockerfile:
    • The runtime target serves the app with nginx, with /health and a runtime config.js.
    • The dev target runs vite dev.
    • The app serves /health itself through a prerendered endpoint, because SvelteKit's dev server has no fallback page for the harness to wait on.
  • Routing. The app joins REFERENCE_APPS, overridable with SEAMLESS_SVELTE_DIR. A web template whose verify.project or framework is svelte uses the new runtime.
  • --local packs @seamless-auth/client and @seamless-auth/svelte into verify/svelte-vendor.
  • Reporting. The summary and the matrix reporter know the new layers. There are also compose services and CI cache scopes for them.

Checks (real output)

npx tsc --noEmit -p . # no errors
npx vitest run # Test Files 61 passed | 1 skipped (62) / Tests 1245 passed | 4 skipped (1249)

node dist/index.js verify --local --dev was run against this branch, seamless-auth-api, seamless-auth-server and seamless-templates at origin/main, and seamless-auth-react at fells-code/seamless-auth-react#181. All 13 layers passed:

✔ Web · react-vite (all flows) 5.2s
✔ Web (dev) · react-vite (all flows) 5.5s

Merge order

This is a draft until fells-code/seamless-auth-react#181 is merged and @seamless-auth/svelte is published:

  • Conformance CI: it checks out the SDK at main.
  • Released smoke: it installs the published package.

Adds svelte and svelte-dev layers that drive an app on @seamless-auth/svelte
through the same specs as the React template, from a SvelteKit 3 reference app
in verify/svelte-app (a single-page app on adapter-static) until a Svelte web
template exists. It joins the REFERENCE_APPS list with SEAMLESS_SVELTE_DIR as
its override, and --local packs the client and Svelte packages into
verify/svelte-vendor. The app serves /health itself, since the SvelteKit dev
server has no fallback page for the harness to wait on.

Refs fells-code/seamless-auth-react#172.
