You may use, copy, and modify forbear (the "Software") and build it
into your own software, for free, under these rules:

1. Keep this license and the copyright notice with any copy of the
   Software.

2. Do not distribute the Software, or a modified version of it, as a
   standalone library, framework, or SDK. Forking it for yourself,
   contributing back, and shipping it inside your own app are fine.

   Building on top of the Software is fully allowed: you may create
   and distribute your own libraries, components, bindings, or
   frameworks that use the Software, free or paid, as long as the
   Software itself stays under this license.

3. Do not feed the Software, its code, or its tests into an AI or
   other code-generation tool to produce a similar framework.

4. Royalty. If you sell or offer a product to others that is built
   with the Software, you pay 1% of that product's revenue above
   USD $100,000 per calendar year, counted from January 1. Royalties
   for a single product never exceed USD $600,000 per year.

   - If your product also has versions not built with the Software
     (such as a web app), only count revenue from customers who used
     the version built with the Software.
   - Once a product first passes USD $100,000 in a year, email
     gabriel.readme@hey.com within 30 days to let us know.
   - Report revenue and pay each quarter, within 45 days of the
     quarter's end. We may ask for reasonable proof of revenue.

   No royalty is owed for:
   - software used only inside your own organization;
   - open-source products under an OSI-approved license;
   - personal or non-commercial use by individuals; or
   - non-profits using it for their mission.

   Future versions of this license may change these numbers, but
   only for versions of the Software released under the new terms.

5. While your royalties are paid up, we will ship bug fixes in
   regular releases and security patches for your major version for
   18 months after its release.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
NONINFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT AS STATED IN SECTION 5. IN NO EVENT SHALL
THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER
LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE,
ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE
OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
