What was wrong

The homepage shows which companies people work at, but nothing about what builders say after using bb. Public endorsements from X, GitHub and a blog post weren't shown anywhere on the site.

What changed

  • A new testimonials section, "A daily driver for builders.", sits between "Fork it. Make it your own." and the closer.
  • It shows twelve quotes in one plain card style for every source: quote, avatar, name, @handle or source, and a small source icon.
  • Quotes are cut to the endorsement only, with every cut marked "…".
  • Each whole card opens the original post in a new tab.
  • Desktop shows four columns over three rows.
  • Tablets show two columns. Phones show one swipeable row with the next card peeking in.
  • Clicks fire landing_testimonial_clicked with the source (x, github or blog).
  • Avatars are bundled small images, not hotlinked. The blog author gets an initials circle.

How you verified

  • @bb/web typecheck passed.
  • @bb/web tests passed (38 files, 347 tests), including a new test for new-tab links and click tracking.
  • Changed files pass oxfmt and oxlint.
  • At 1440px the section is 545px tall. At 768px it is 756px, and at 360px it is 417px.
  • Checked in headless Chrome at 1440, 768 and 360px wide, in light and dark.
