Add the missing PyPI affected-package metadata for CVE-2026-87986 / GHSA-m93j-546h-jwjv.
Package: mistral-vibe
Ecosystem: pip
Affected versions: >= 1.3.4, < 2.25.4
First patched version: 2.25.4
In affected versions, Vibe's shell permission analysis could authorize an incomplete representation of a command. Shell syntax not interpreted correctly by tree-sitter-bash could be omitted from the extracted command list even though the execution shell would process it.
Version 2.25.4 implements fail-closed shell permission analysis, including parser-error detection, unsupported syntax handling, and approval requirements for command constructs that cannot be represented safely. The upstream release includes relevant regression tests for both legacy and managed shell implementations.
Vulnerable source:

Upstream security-fix release:
mistralai/mistral-vibe#1084
Vendor confirmation:
https://docs.mistral.ai/resources/security-advisories/MAI-2026-003
This change enriches the existing unreviewed GHSA; it does not create a separate advisory.
