Summary

  • New chat and dashboard landing clips (both themes): the real Fanout UI on an unmodified OpenTelemetry Demo, captured at 2x and edited (zoom, pacing) outside this repo. Answers, panels and numbers are as recorded.
    • Chat: "Which service is slowest right now?" gets a health view and an answer naming the slow service.
    • Dashboard: a checkout dashboard request becomes 9 checked panels, saved, then opened and scrolled.
  • Videos uploaded to R2 under videos/ (content-addressed); landing-media.json and posters updated; chat alt and description copy updated.
  • Removed the superseded Playwright recording pipeline: landing-recordings.spec.ts, landing-recording-support.ts, encode-clips.*, clip-timeline.* and their tests. landing-recordings.md becomes landing-clips.md (assets and publishing only).

Verification

  • All eight R2 URLs return 200 with video content types.
  • node --test site/scripts/*.test.mjs: 30 pass.
  • npm run build in site/ with all guards: pass.
  • tsc --noEmit in ui/host, just ui-deadcode script-tests: pass.

The chat and dashboard clips now show Fanout's own interface on the
OpenTelemetry Demo, captured at 2x and cut outside this repository, with
answers, panels and numbers as recorded. The chat clip asks which service
is slowest; the dashboard clip builds, checks and opens a checkout
dashboard.

Remove the Playwright recording spec, its support module, the encoder and
its timeline helpers and tests, which no longer produce these clips.
landing-clips.md now covers only the expected assets and publishing.

Replaced by #394, which renders the homepage clips from Fanout's own interface components.
