- Line 112: Update the cache-key generation around getKey to distinguish an
omitted version from every explicitly supplied version. Preserve the existing
default key for omitted versions, but prefix explicit version values so
version=default cannot reuse the omitted-version cache entry; keep category
handling unchanged.

The default modules listing only kept ranges that include 3.999.999, and the module page showed the Nuxt 2 banner unless the range text contained `^3` or `>=3`. Modules whose range starts at Nuxt 4 were hidden from /modules and pointed readers to v2.nuxt.com. The default listing and the banner now use `supportsNuxt3OrLater`, which accepts any valid range that allows Nuxt 3 or a later major. Explicit `version` filters keep their current results.

Thank you @slavarazum, I think this is a great in-between solution until we move forward with #2331 / #2110 |
Modules built for Nuxt 4 are missing from /modules and its search, and their pages send readers to Nuxt 2. This affects 26 modules, including
@nuxtjs/better-auth,@clerk/nuxt,@polar-sh/nuxt,@comark/nuxtandnuxt-convex-module.@nuxtjs/better-auth0.3.10>=4.0.0nuxt-convex-module0.11.0>=4.1.0Their pages today:
This PR lists these modules and shows their pages without the banner. Every other module keeps its current listing and banner.
How it works
supportsNuxt3OrLater(range)checks whether a range allows Nuxt 3 or any later version, including ranges like~4.1.0and^5.0.0. The default listing (noversionparameter) and the module page banner both use it. Explicitversionfilters keep their results, and the OpenAPI spec describes the default.Related work
This is a quick fix for today. The bigger question is still open: which Nuxt versions the catalog shows by default, and what happens to modules that only declare Nuxt 3. #2408 answers both, with Nuxt 4 as the default, a version selector and a warning for Nuxt 3-only modules, so it's the best place to settle this, and it can build on this check. The badges from #2331 and #2110 could fit in there too, and the note in #2110 about listing modules for the current docs version is a good guide.
#2053 asks for the same thing from the user side. Nuxt DevTools hides the same modules with its own
>=3text check, so it could use the same rule later.
