On an instance whose demo data was seeded with semantic identifiers, the onboarding tour opens
/projects/demo-project/work_packagesand gets a 404, because the demo project isDEMO.What approach did you choose and why?
The tour URLs were hardcoded to
demo-project. A smallProjects::DemoProjectmodule knows both demo identifiers (demo-project,DEMO): the layout exposes the existing one in ademo_project_identifiermeta tag,demoProjectUrl()builds the tour URLs from it, andUpdateDemoDatarecognizes either identifier. A semantic context inonboarding_tour_specchecks that the tour continues in theDEMOproject.Seeding the demo project as
DEMOin semantic mode is a separate follow-up; this PR only stops the tour from depending on the classic identifier.Stacked on #26603.
