some notes on when most one-time contributors that find an issue, implement it, and then disappear exist
there seems to be two groups:
at around 5-7am UTC: I guess people that want to work on something in the morning
then late at night, 10pm onwards until around 1-2am: code night
when creating an issue, it is a good idea to publish it right before these periods start so it is more likely that these kinds of contributors find them
of course, it does not apply to already-stablished contributors
the amount of open issues that seems to peak contribution is ~30, and fairly skewed towards recently open
issues that tend to be well received:
fixes, regressions
features
"implementation details are left for the contributor to decide"
"help wanted" but not "good first issue" = some good contributor may take it
