Every logo was cut from the organization's avatar: 460 px, the stack 240
of them, on the navy with the wordmark under it. The 512 was a 2x
enlargement and on a 2x screen even the header's 256 was short, which
read as pixelated. assets/mark.png is the mark as it was drawn, 1024 px
on a clear ground with the stack some 450 px, and cmd/mark cuts every
size from it: the tile on palette.toml's brand navy, the clear mark with
the drawing's own edges instead of a flood fill of a textured ground, and
now the 180 px touch icon. Each size is the drawing reduced; one it would
have to enlarge fails.

Compare the logos in Files changed (GitHub's image diff: 2-up, swipe, onion skin).

One decision for you: on the navy tile, the drawing's shadow ring is light grey - drawn for a light ground. The avatar's was dark. Keep it, or have the tile darken it?
