Midnight added a lot of exciting new cinematics. This addon respectfully replaces them with Warlords of Draenor.
One optional rule. No escape. Times change.
- Replaces known Midnight movies with the Warlords of Draenor opening cinematic.
- Replaces cancellable live cutscenes while you are in Midnight regions.
- Leaves non-Midnight cinematics and uncancellable vehicle or camera sequences untouched.
- Uses Blizzard's built-in movie, so no video files are bundled or downloaded by the addon.
- Falls back safely when the replacement movie is unavailable.
- Adds an optional Hard Core mode that makes Times Change replacements unskippable.
- Copy the
TimesChangefolder into_retail_/Interface/AddOns/. - Enable Times Change in the character-selection AddOns menu.
- Enter Azeroth and accept that history is about to repeat itself.
Open Options > AddOns > Times Change to enable Hard Core.
Hard Core is disabled by default and saved separately for each character. When enabled, the standard movie skip controls are ignored only for replacements started by Times Change. Other cinematics and manually played movies remain skippable.
Enabling Hard Core requires one final declaration of loyalty. Choose Yes when asked whether you will deny the Blood of Mannoroth; choosing No or closing the confirmation leaves cinematics skippable. Disabling Hard Core requires a second confirmation, and declining it keeps Hard Core enabled.
