Guided First Success: take new users from setup to a real result #67
Turn first-run onboarding into a complete first-use journey in the real workspace.
A new user should be able to verify or skip AI setup, create a real page, add content, try a command and one visual builder when AI is ready, and save an export.
Principles
AI remains optional.
Count real successful outcomes, not clicks.
Reuse the existing provider, page, job, builder and export flows.
Keep the guide resumable, skippable and non-blocking.
Do not include installer animation, signing, analytics or automatic third-party installation.
Delivery
This umbrella will be delivered through two focused issues and pull requests:
Provider readiness and resumable activation state.
Interactive first-page journey and completion tracking.
Completion
Both implementation issues are merged, full CI and packaged smoke checks pass, and the resulting feature is ready for the next Lucid release.
I’m taking this milestone on. I’ll keep the work in the two linked, focused implementation issues and will update this umbrella when both are merged and validated.
Local CI passed with 1,552 tests; production build and affected Electron flows passed
I am leaving this umbrella open for one final acceptance check: the packaged app was assembled and its contents/signature check passed, but this sandbox would not launch the packaged GUI process, so the remaining runtime packaged smoke could not be completed here.

Both implementation PRs are now merged.
