What

On a Mac the window had a grey native title bar with "Lucid" written in it. It is gone. The top row of the page takes its place:

  • the three round buttons sit at its left, with more margin, in the middle of the row's height (electron/chrome.ts moves them as the window grows, because the row grows with it);
  • the sidebar's brand row (mark and name, which stay) starts after them; with the pages hidden, the page's top bar leaves the same room;
  • the empty parts of both rows move the window, and anything that can be clicked in them does not;
  • the window is still titled "Lucid" for the Window menu, the Dock and screen readers.

Windows and Linux keep their own window frame (nothing to see or test it with here).

Checked

Layout was looked at with markers where the buttons sit (the OS refuses screen capture of the native buttons here), both with the pages shown and hidden. New Mac-only e2e window-chrome.spec.ts: content starts at the window's top (it fails with the default title bar: 38 px offset), the brand and the "Show pages" button start after the buttons, the drag and no-drag regions. Full e2e: 94 passed; the one failure (diagram-fit PDF page) is fixed by #16.

…text

The native title bar (a grey strip with "Lucid" in the middle above the page) is gone on a Mac. The top row of the page takes its
place: the three round buttons sit at its left, in the middle of its height (electron/chrome.ts moves them as the window grows,
because the row does), the brand starts after them, and with the pages hidden the page's top bar leaves the same room. The empty
parts of the two rows move the window; what can be clicked in them does not. The name stays in the sidebar, and as the window's
title for the Window menu and screen readers. Windows and Linux keep their own window frame.
