• Missing terminationGracePeriodSeconds: the skill's configuration table omits the field, and the shutdown text treats the 10-second grace period as fixed ("the process is killed 10 seconds after SIGTERM." in pitfall 5, "(10s grace)" in the frontmatter summary). The docs now document an optional terminationGracePeriodSeconds (integer 0–3600, default 10) on the daemon config and the Build Output API descriptor. Added a config-table row and noted the field in the frontmatter summary, Graceful Shutdown, the Build Output API paragraph, the Limits table, and pitfall 5.

• Hobby quota unit: the skill says Hobby has "a monthly vCPU-hour allowance". The limits page says the quota counts Active CPU, and time spent waiting doesn't count. Changed to "a monthly Active CPU-hour allowance".

• The default grace period is still 10 seconds. The published schema at https://openapi.vercel.sh/vercel.json describes terminationGracePeriodSeconds with "default": 30 ("Defaults to 30; maximum 3600"). The config reference, limits, overview, Build Output API, and KB pages all say 10. A maintainer should confirm which one the platform uses.
• The deprecated replicas alias note is still accurate: the published schema marks it "Deprecated. Use instances. Ignored when instances is set."
• The schema's entrypoint description allows suffixed names such as Dockerfile.worker. The docs don't mention this, and the skill wasn't changed.

Update (@molebox): default is 30 seconds, not 10

Resolved the open question in "Not changed": the platform default is 30 seconds, so the skill now says 30 everywhere (summary, config table, Graceful Shutdown, Limits, pitfall 5).

• vercel/api#99394 "feat(daemons): default termination grace period to 30s" (merged 2026-10-16): "Change the default terminationGracePeriodSeconds for daemons from 10 seconds to 30 seconds… The default is in @api/blackbox-types, so the API and vercel.json schemas also show the new default."
• @api/blackbox-types blackboxConfigSchema.terminationGracePeriodSeconds is .default(30). The daemon reconciler (daemonsToConfigurations) parses each daemon through that schema, and hive-client.ts uses the value as the cell's shutdownGracePeriod.
• The vercel.com docs pages (config reference, limits, Build Output API) still say 10. They are behind the platform and need a separate docs fix.

Added a regression test in tests/daemons-skill.test.ts; it fails on the previous text and passes now. validate and bun run test pass.
