It does seem like a learnable type of bomb jump to get over the rippers. At least in practice.

I'm thinking probably an Extreme notable for the Dodge Rippers IBJ, with damageless only expected in Insane? It took me a couple hours or so to learn but I can get it kind of quickly now.
