• Anthropic signed-thinking handling is spread over three strip sites in a module cycle; the same-window 400 (9dcb6d6d3) came from exactly that seam

• AgentTask budgets are inert or fail early on providers that report no usage: maxInputTokens never binds, maxCostUsd ends the turn after round one (Cactus, Chrome AI, TF MediaPipe)

• The new effort dial reaches 2 of 5 run-fns on Ollama and HFI and 3 of 6 on node-llama-cpp: structured generation, rewriter and summary ignore model.effort

• Reasoning / native-turn / tool-result-image round trip shipped on 13 providers with three bespoke test files and no shared conformance assertion

• AgentTask.ts grew 958 -> 1,176 lines in one week (+23%) with eight new turn controls; extract the round loop's policies before the next one lands

• CI: the nightly type-drift guard failed 30 nights running (09-19 to 10-18) and the Bun parity run 4+ — nothing surfaced it, and main sat red for 3 days

• FetchUrl: the URL redaction from the #1010 fix covers 2 of 12 error-message sites; the rest still interpolate the raw URL, and the network-error cause text is unscrubbed

• AgentTask: a hung tool holds the turn past maxDurationMs forever — no per-tool timeout, and the budget is only checked at round start

• AgentTask: the #1009 fail-closed cost rule reports a completed answer as stopReason "budget" and skips the submit reminder when a round has no usage

• #1006 closed with 2 of 16 AI providers: Gemini, xAI, DeepSeek keep catch-all id regexes with no table-coverage test and no per-model override

• Capability resolvers report source: "default" but nothing reads it: a future Claude/OpenAI id that guesses wrong is a silent, undiagnosable HTTP 400

• ModelTimingTier is clock-only: Gemini's 2026-12-31 introductory price is a code comment, and DeepSeek's weekend off-peak is mispriced

• A .test.tsx is invisible to test discovery *and* to the independent oracle that exists to catch discovery holes — 6th cycle, and the coverage rewrite now globs {ts,tsx} while discovery does not
