Gitlab has a known limitation that is not mentioned in API description here: API return not whole diff, but only first page (which is 20 files by default). Also, they have old enough issue for it
There is undocumented "pagination" that allow to retrieve whole commit diff. There is no any standart "page", "has more" or something else in API response, but if we call same API with ?page=N - it will give us more files
Also, there is some setting for "how many files is in page" somewhere in gitlab itself (at least for self-hosted instances) which is 20 by default, so we allow to override it with GITLAB_COMMIT_FILES_PER_PAGE env variable.
