The time budget only ran between lines, so one catastrophic pattern blocked the process. Regex matching now runs in a worker that is killed at the budget.

Bound the trace before the worker handoff.
searchJobLog passes an unbounded log to workerData. Two workers can retain the parent traces, cloned inputs, split lines, and cleaned copies, so the 1,024 MB limit applies per worker and does not cap aggregate resident memory. The Worker constructor also performs the input handoff before the timeout is installed, so lowering the heap limit alone does not prevent event-loop delay.
Add a configured byte or character limit before acquireSearchWorkerSlot() and new Worker(...). Reject or otherwise bound oversized traces before the worker receives them.

Summary
Adds optional log search to
get_pipeline_job_output, so an agent can find an error in the middle of a long job log without guessingoffsetvalues.New optional parameters:
pattern: substring to search for (max 500 chars). Withregex: trueit is a JavaScript regular expression.case_sensitive: defaultfalse.context_lines: lines before and after each match (default 5, max 50). Overlapping windows are merged.max_matches: default 20, max 100.When
patternis set, the whole log is searched andlimit/offsetare ignored. ANSI color codes and GitLabsection_start/section_endmarkers are stripped first. The result shows only the matching fragments with 1-based line numbers from the start of the log, plustotal_lines,total_matches,shown_matchesandtruncated. The agent can then useoffset/limitfor more context. An invalid regex comes back as a tool input error.Without
pattern, output is the same as before, including ANSI codes.Safety note
A user-supplied regex can backtrack badly. To limit this, the pattern is capped at 500 chars, each line is cut to 4,000 chars before matching, and the search stops with an error after 1 second. The 1-second check only runs between lines, so a single pathological regex on one long line can still block the event loop until that line finishes.
regexis opt-in and the tool is read-only. Reviewers should still look at this, especially for shared remote HTTP deployments.Docs
