Summary

  • Raise docker job timeout-minutes from 20 to 40 in .github/workflows/docker-publish.yml.
  • Triggered by v2.2.3: first docker-publish run cancelled at the 20-minute limit; retry succeeded (~18 min job). v2.2.2 was also ~18 min.

Why builds are slow (follow-up, not in this PR)

linux/amd64,linux/arm64 on ubuntu-latest means arm64 goes through QEMU, and there is no Buildx GHA cache (cache-from / cache-to). Typical recent successes sit near 18–19 minutes, so the old 20-minute cap was too tight.

Possible later improvements (out of scope here):

  • Add Buildx registry/GHA cache
  • Split amd64/arm64 (native arm runner) instead of QEMU on one job

Test plan

  • Confirm workflow YAML still validates (CI / actionlint if present)
  • Next release docker-publish should finish without a timeout cancel when the build takes ~18–25 minutes

v2.2.3 hit the 20-minute job limit and had to be retried; recent
successful multi-arch builds already take ~18 minutes.
