ci: key Library caches per build configuration - #864
The build-test workflows cache each job's Unity Library. A Library is not neutral: it stores the editor's build settings, including the standalone subtarget of the last build. Unity's BuildPipeline.BuildPlayer falls back to that stored subtarget when the build script passes StandaloneBuildSubtarget.Default (reference source).
That is how StandaloneOSX on 2023.2.22f1 failed on #861 with Dedicated Server support for MacStandalone is not installed: the macOS job found no cache of its own and, through the bare Library- restore key, restored Library-test-project-ubuntu-StandaloneLinux64-2023.2.22f1-. The Ubuntu matrix builds -standaloneBuildSubtarget Server and Player variants under that same key. Across the last eight macOS runs, both occurrences of this error restored another job's Library.
This keeps every job on its own Library, so a cache can only speed a build up, never change what it builds.
Keys: they now include the scripting backend (il2cpp-true|false) and the subtarget (subtarget-player|server), next to OS, target platform, Unity version and build profile. Ubuntu derives both from its matrix; macOS and Windows always build IL2CPP Players.
No fallbacks: the restore-keys are removed, both the per-OS prefix and the cross-OS Library-. A job restores its exact key or starts cold.
Key version: the prefix moves to Library-v2-, so none of the existing, possibly polluted caches are restored again.
The save steps are unchanged (cache-primary-key).
The other half of the fix is in the build script: game-ci/cli#302 builds the Player when no subtarget is passed, whatever the Library remembers.
Verified: actionlint and oxfmt --check on the three workflows. On this PR's run, StandaloneOSX on 2023.2.22f1 (Builds - MacOS) passes, and its log shows it restoring nothing but its own Library-v2-…-macos-StandaloneOSX-2023.2.22f1-il2cpp-true-subtarget-player- key.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Chores
Build and test workflows across macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows now restore cached build data only when the configuration matches exactly. Cache entries are separated by platform and build settings, reducing the chance of reusing data from a different configuration. The cache version can also be changed to use a fresh cache.
Server and Player builds shared a cache key, and every job could fall back to any other job's Library through the bare Library- restore key. A Library remembers its last standalone subtarget, so a macOS Player build that restored an Ubuntu Server Library tried to build a Mac Dedicated Server and failed. Keys now include the scripting backend and subtarget, prefix fallbacks are gone, and the v2 prefix leaves the polluted caches behind.

Walkthrough
The macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows build workflows now use versioned Library cache keys that include build configuration fields. The workflows no longer use restore-key fallbacks.
The workflows use versioned cache keys with platform-specific configuration fields. They remove restore-key fallbacks, so cache restoration requires an exact key match.
Unprofiled builds can still reuse Library state from a different build configuration. Give absent profiles a distinct key value before merging.

Prevent the unprofiled key from matching a profiled cache.
If the Unity 6000.0.36f1 profiled job saves first, the unprofiled job can restore its Library: the unprofiled key ends in -, and the profiled key starts with that entire key. Removing restore-keys does not prevent this match. GitHub also searches for prefix matches of the primary key. This can reuse Build Profile state across the configurations that this change intends to separate. Give an absent matrix.buildProfile a nonempty value, such as ${{ matrix.buildProfile || 'none' }}, here and in the Ubuntu and Windows keys. (docs.github.com)
Based on learnings: Cache reuse must not cross result-affecting configurations.
