At the heart of our revenue model are the premium memberships we provide for our services. All memberships are monthly. We want to be reasonable in our pricing and if possible not exceed the psychological bar of $10.
The services are priced using a simple ruleset, trying to keep it as simple as possible both for the consumer and our financial records. Basically there are three brackets for pricing (most) products:
Bracket 1: Utilities
If an app is utilitarian, targeted mostly to developers and its API is a prominent feature then it fits in this category. Examples of this category are: Onscribe, Chiiv
Price: $3
Bracket 2: Consumer services
These services target the average consumer, catering to the needs of an individual rather than a company. Examples in this category are: Artycles, Cloudvisio
Price: $5
Bracket 3: Professional services
For services clearly targeted towards the professional crowd, with special UI features that exceed the demands of the average consumer, we have a separate bracket. Examples of this category are: GoCollab, Assetorium
Price: $7
Exceptions
Certain apps were excluded from the above categorization. Specifically:
Apptrack is priced as $1 although it does fit the bracket #1. This was done merely to preserve the tagline: "$1 tracking"
CRUDR and PN:OI both have huge demands in realtime communication and they are priced at $9 to cover the overhead.
