- Line 38: Update the URL-redaction logic in the message.replace matcher so
userinfo is redacted even when malformed URLs contain whitespace before the @;
ensure configuration-validation and rejected X-GitLab-API-URL logs use the
redacted value rather than exposing the raw invalid URL.
- Around line 1-2: Update sensitive-query handling around
SENSITIVE_QUERY_PATTERN to recognize percent-encoded parameter names by decoding
them before matching, while redacting their values in the existing output format
and preserving matches for unencoded names.

Cursor CLI review (serious issues only) on c2aa1e3 — changes requested
redactUrlSecretsInText leaves basic-auth secrets in logs for some URLs that new URL accepts. validateConfiguration only checks new URL, so these values pass startup and are then printed by Default GitLab API URL.
https://my user:s3cret@gitlab.example/api/v4 parses as username my user and password s3cret. The redactor returns that string unchanged. The compact matcher stops at the space, and the whitespace matcher requires a colon before any space, so user name:password@host never matches.
https://admin:1234 secret@gitlab.example/api/v4 parses as password 1234 secret. looksLikeHostPort treats the numeric token as a port and keeps the original text. The query redactor still runs, so a sibling private_token is masked while the password stays in the same line.
new URL("https://my user:s3cret@gitlab.example/api/v4")
password = "s3cret"
redactUrlSecretsInText(input) === input
new URL("https://admin:1234 secret@gitlab.example/api/v4")
password = "1234 secret"
redactUrlSecretsInText(input) === input
Redact userinfo when a parsed URL has a username or password, including raw whitespace. https://user:pass@host is already covered.

Why
On startup the server logs
Configured GitLab API URLs: ...andDefault GitLab API URL: ...to stderr withGITLAB_API_URLprinted as-is.
